Starting
What does ADA Consulting actually do?
We help small businesses and organisations decide and plan before they spend. That means finding out what customers want, working out costs and prices, setting goals, writing plans, setting up simple records and planning technology. See the nine services.
Where do I start?
With the free ten-question check, or with a Business Check-up for N$199. If you already know your question, go to the question pages.
Does my business have to be registered?
No. We work with ideas, informal businesses and registered ones. If you want to register, the guide Registering a business in Namibia points you to the right offices.
I am not in Rundu. Can you still help?
Yes. Sessions are held by phone or WhatsApp call anywhere in Namibia, and documents are sent by WhatsApp or email. Customer conversations and site visits in person are done in Rundu.
Do I need a laptop or email?
No. A phone with WhatsApp is enough. Plans and worksheets can be printed for you.
Money
How much does it cost?
From N$199 for a Business Check-up. Every price is on the pricing page. No VAT is charged.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. A first conversation of about 15 minutes, by phone or WhatsApp, costs nothing. It is to see whether we are the right people to help.
When do I pay?
For work over N$1,000, half before work starts and half on delivery. Smaller services are paid at the session. See ADA's payment, refund and cancellation policy.
Can you help me get a loan or a grant?
We can help you prepare: evidence of demand, costing, and a written business plan to the lender's or funder's requirements. We cannot promise the outcome. That decision belongs to the lender or funder.
How we work
Will what I tell you stay private?
Yes. Your figures, plans and customer information are confidential and are not shared outside ADA without your written agreement. See the engagement terms and ADA's Privacy Policy.
Are you accountants or lawyers?
No. We do not prepare tax returns, audited statements or legal documents. Where you need a registered accountant or a lawyer, we will tell you, and tell you what to ask them.
Do you have experience? I see no case studies.
ADA Consulting opened in October 2026 and is new. There are no client stories yet, and we will not make any up. The prices, the method and the free worksheets are published so that you can judge the thinking before you pay. The first paid step is one hour for N$199.
Is this Empretec training?
No. Our method draws on the competency framework taught in the Empretec workshop, which ADA's founder attended, but ADA Consulting is not an Empretec centre and is not affiliated with UNCTAD. For the workshop itself, contact the Empretec Namibia Programme.
Will you push me to buy a website or IT services from ADA?
No. If a plan points to work that ADA Web or ADA Tech does, we say so and you can ask for a quote. You are free to take any plan to another supplier.
Can you just write the business plan for me?
We write it with you. You supply the facts, we structure them, do the figures and write the document. A plan written without the owner tends to fail at the first question from the reader.
Tell us what you are trying to decide.
You do not need a business plan to talk to us. Say what the business is, what you want from it and what is in the way. A Business Check-up costs N$199 and comes off any other service you book within 30 days.
